We are working to decrease screen time this week - how about you?
Instead of Paw Patrol, we baked some "breakfast cookies". These are super simple to throw together and my kiddos gobble them up (so do I)! Note - these are not crispy cookies, they are super moist and squishy!
Best part - even the littlest helper can play a part!
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups oats
1 cup applesauce
1/2 cup raisins (or other add in)
cinnamon to taste
Step 1: squish the bananas (silly face optional).
Step 2: Mix all the ingredients in a bowl (this time you have to have a silly face).
Step 3: place rounded mounds onto a greased or parchment lined cookie sheet. Maverick wanted some Mickey Mouse cookies, so we got a little creative. I usually get about 14 cookies out of one recipe.
Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool on a wire rack!
Happy Baking, friends!
